Roxie paints, carves stamps, embroiders, writes, creates collages, makes stickers and anything else she can come up with. She was born in Seattle, raised in Detroit and is now home in Tacoma.
As a child she was set on the path of creativity by Imagination Station and Bob Ross on PBS. She’s been independently exploring art ever since. Roxie’s pieces often feature adorable animals or forlorn women in the vibrant color palettes of children’s illustrations. If she isn’t working with her own projects, she’s guiding others on theirs as a painting instructor at Voila Art Studio in Sumner.
Roxie is a story fiend that reads and binges shows at an alarming rate. She lives with her husband Chad and dog Banjo near Point Defiance Park. When she isn’t walking her dog she’s home thinking up new things to make.
